Trekking Equipment list for your Journey

Following the general checklist will helps to pack any trips. While the Trekking checklist helps to ready for your trekking journey. And please be careful to carry only the essential things. Because a long journey waiting for you. Remember to pack your trekking bag less than 33 pounds (15 kilograms), Otherwise, you will fed-up before you start the journey. Remember this is a just checklist. It is not compulsory to bring all the stuff mentioned below. With your own experience and judgment change the checklist. 

 General Checklist

  • Light and expedition weight thermal tops
  • Fleece jacket or pullover
  • Fleece Wind-Stopper jacket
  • Lightweight thermal gloves (If you are in summer this is not necessary)
  • Underwear (4)
  • Shorts (2)
  • Waterproof shell jacket (suggest breathable fabric)
  • Warm fleece hat
  • Lightweight cotton long trousers
  • Sun hat or scarf
  • T-shirts (2) (If you are changing frequently increase it)
  • Thin, lightweight (inner socks) (4)
  • Sunglasses with UV protection
  • Sleeping bag rated to 0 degrees (3/4 season)
  • Headlamp (eg Petzl) spare bulbs & batteries
  • Small padlock to lock trek bag
  • Basic First Aid Kit (see First Aid Medicine below)
  • Plastic bags - for keeping items dry inside trek bag
  • Daypack (35-40 litres/2500-3000 cubic inches)
  • Camping mattress, eg Thermarest pad
  • Water bottles (2 – 3 ) If you drink water more increase it
  • Toiletries (Otherwise you have to hold more time)
  • Small wash towel
  • Footwear appropriate to the trip
  • Waterproof shell trousers/pants (preferably breathable fabric)

 Trekking Checklist

  • Heavyweight mittens or gloves (with a waterproof shell outer)
  • Fleece or wool trousers
  • Down vest or jacket (if you need)
  • Thick, warm wool trekking socks
  • Footwear for around camp, eg running shoes or sandals
  • Trekking boots with spare laces or trekking shoes
  • Snacks for hunger
  • Telescopic trekking
  • Trekking poles
  • Gaiters (not compulsory)
